Daland Swim School has been teaching lifesaving swimming skills and building confident swimmers since 1987! As a family-owned business, we've helped more than 100,000 students learn to swim while creating a fun, supportive environment for our families and staff.

About the Position
As a Swim Instructor, you'll teach children and adults essential swimming and water safety skills in a fun, encouraging environment. You'll help students overcome fears, celebrate milestones, and build confidence in the water.
No previous swim teaching experience? No problem! We provide paid, hands-on training to give you the skills and confidence to become a successful instructor.
What You'll Do
- Teach engaging swim lessons to students of different ages and abilities.
- Demonstrate swimming techniques and essential water safety skills.
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Help students build confidence, improve their skills, and celebrate their progress.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and management to provide an excellent experience for every swimmer.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Friendly, patient, enthusiastic, and dependable.
- Comfortable working with children and being in the water.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required. Not certified yet? We offer certification courses on-site, with reimbursement available after six months of employment.
Previous swim instruction experience is not required! Experience in childcare, teaching, coaching, or swimming is a plus.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school.
